West Coast Road Trip 2025-26
This was a short (time & distance) coastal road trip from Pacific Grove, CA. to Bandon, OR. We had good weather into Oregon, where it rained every day. The cloudy, foggy, rainy weather added an interesting atmospheric element that I tried to capture.
We drove through the Avenue of the Giants twice. It’s almost impossible to capture the grandeur and size of these redwood giants in a photograph, but for scale I have included one of me standing in the burned-out trunk of a single redwood tree.
